He insisted youv,e got to go and see him and his family he,s been there 30 years ish he told Papa that he woulld pick you up; in Bankok if you like . Anyway son got to do some work now !!! Hi Ed, hope all is well, Are you enjoying Thailand. Daren's home for a couple of days, he's doing a course up at the Oxford Hotel, near Wolvercote roundabout, I dropped him off this morning.

I did the Portsmouth Great South Run, it was great. We went for the weekend and stayed in the Hoilday Inn, the weather was good, which helped.
Not much else happening, your rooms completed and we've moved in a lodger!

yes ro! not long now!! we are in ko samui eagerly awaiting your arrival!!!! thailand is so beautiful. been to so many beautiful islands, especially in the south. spent a few days on ko phi phi which was obliterated by the tsunami last year. place was devastated. our hotel had half a roof and wall. real mess. the wave was 5 stories high, wiping out most of the buildings along the beach. some places have been fixed up so the tourists are coming back. the outer islands in this region are awesome. went to ko phi phi lay which is where the film 'the beach' was set/filmed. beautiful paradise islands and lots of excellent snorkelling. had a few shocking journeys and incidents but all works out okay in the end. shame what happened in bali. right in the main square :( xx

Glad you got the card okay. hope you could read it? wrote it while on a bus journey up to port douglas which was a little bumpy! In Bali right now which is amazing and hot!!! and very very cheap. Hotel rooms for 2.50, beer 50p, 3 course gourmet dinner for 2 quid, driver and car all day for 7 quid. Will definitely be visiting this sie of the world again for a holiday in the future. Leaving for Singapore this afternoon. Then up to Malaysia by some time next week. only 4 months leaft!! yikes! ;O) xx

I am in the god damn tropics. just spent the past week sailing around the whitsunday islands. some of which have the top 5 beaches in the world. it is seriously the most amazing beaches i have ever seen in my life. went diving in the great barrier reef which is absolutely amazing. seriously. heard the whales singing to each other which is the most incredible experience i have ever heard!!! such beautiful creatures. sand as white as white can be and so much marine activity. had me respirator knocked out for a while which scared me a bit but hasn't put me off diving in the future! must run! big love to you all!!! xxxxxx

Yo guys! well we made it up to hervey bay in queensland and about to embark on a 3day safari on fraser island, the biggest island on this planet. its basically a 3 day bender on wheels (no drink driving though) should be pretty mad. pretty warm here. getting attacked by the sun. car is dying slowly. doubt it will make it all the way to cairns since we're not even half way up yet! in a bit of a rush so making it brief. nice to hear from you jo. will text you when i'm back in civilization (no network here) love to you all. hope you're not all working too hard. hahaha
