The flight from Rarotonga seemed long, over nine hours leaving at midnight so after no sleep I got to Los Angeles airport at lunchtime and then hopped on a shuttle bus to Anaheim. I've been to LA before and had no desire to return.

The rest of the afternoon I walked about doing mundane stuff then the next day I enjoyed all the usual fun at Disneyland. My room was only a 15 minute walk and in glorious warm sunshine I spent the day on heaps of rides - Indianna Jones, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain being the best. California Adventure next door looked like it had bigger rides but I enjoyed my day anyway, the queues werent too bad - usually less than half and hour and enjoyed a few chats to pass the time.

I had dinner at Tony Romas, where much steak and beer had been enjoyed with my mate Andy on a trip here in 2001, and left for New York early the following morning after a bad nights sleep thanks to a baby seemingly trying to break the crying decibel record.
