This is the view from our Barcelona hotel apartment balcony. It is located in a more local non tourist area. Very few people around seem to speak English. It made for an interesting dinner experience when we ate at a family run restaurant and sampled a variety of tapas including octopus, squid, cod, shrimp, pork, mushrooms, and a few others. Here we are half way over the Atlantic. Already watched 2 movies, Malinda 2 different ones, Steve and Michelle even others. These planes are cool though - each seat has its own video screen plus USB port AND 110 AC power plug. None of us are getting much shut-eye. Tried sticking Malinda's fingernails into the power socket to stun her to sleep, but apparently they are not only child-proof but adult-proof as well ;-). Cie la vie. Celebrating with a Champagne toast on the eve of our departure. (Who likes this stuff anyway?). It's off to Barcelona tomorrow via Toronto - flight at 8am. Happy happy happy!
