One of the public beaches in Nice where the beautiful people sunbathe, sometimes sans suit (no peeking ;-). Our ship, the Celebrity Solstice, moored out in the harbor. One of the nicer cruise ships, as we've been told by other experienced cruisers.

Toured the interior of the Sagrada Familia Basilica Thursday morning. A vacation disaster was averted later when a not-to-be-named person's credit card was found amongst the apples in the grocery store. Almost a YSI moment. Then it was off to embark on our cruise on the Celebrity Solstice - first stop Cannes, France on Friday. Woo-hoo, we're off!

We had fun using the subway to go downtown to visit the Cathedral of Barcelona (upper two pics). Malinda, as usual, ended up behind bars (and was happy about it). After a tasty dinner of two paellas, we returned back to our neighborhood of Sagrada to see the basilica in subdued light. Tomorrow we will tour the interior and then it's on to the cruise ship.
