Yup. Yet another blog post from Venice. You can probably tell it was our favorite city to date (actually, of the entire cruise). The streets of Venice reminded us of the streets of Florence - a windy maze of claustrophobic to wide passageways to get lost in (sort of like that ancient Adventure computer game - real geeks will understand :-). (UPPER) Someone's got to repair all those gondola fender-benders. (LOWER) Our version of 8 square feet. Around what, we have not a clue. Just another YSI moment.

(UPPER) "Say what? Where? Who?". "Would you move your hand up a little? I have a little tickle under my nose". Grazie. (LOWER) You just can't hide two thorns (or even eyeballs) behind miniature roses.

Venice was Malinda's kind of city. All kinds of things were sized such that she felt like a giant (you know, like Gulliver ;-). Her feet even reached the floor with their Lilliputian toilet heights. What's up with these European toilets anyway. It's like they're saying to the rest of us "We don't need no stinkin' toilet seats"!

What a maze of waterways. And, of course, there are no motorized vehicles allowed in most of Venice. So most everything is transported by water vehicles of one form or another through canals of varying size. The craziness on the water here was reminiscent of the chaos on the roadways in Naples!
