It's the 25th May and we are in San Francisco. Had a bit of a nightmare nearly missing our flight to Seattle as the times were changed and we didn't know! We had a quick stop in Seattle for an hour before flying into San Francisco.
When we arrived we dropped our stuff off and walked down to the piers and collected our Alcatraz tickets for tomorrow and went to pier 39. It's really cool and looks quite old fashioned with loads of restaurants and seaside shops (and smells like candy floss and doughnuts!) you get a good view of the bay and there were loads of sea lions sitting sunbathing on platforms in the sea. The city is quite big and you can jump on one of the old fashioned trams to get around which are quite retro looking!
We got the bus to Alamo Square which has been in a lot of films, and saw a group of houses they call the painted ladies. They are used as a backdrop in a lot of films, we recognised them from Mrs doubt fire.
We went to bubba gump shrimp for dinner on pier 39 which was nice and saw the lights on the bay bridge. It's colder here in San Francisco we were shivering after the heat we got used to in Hawaii!
