Don't worry too much about Melissa's shoes, Jonathan. By the time you reach the Sunshine Coast you won't actually need any. Australians seem to have an aversion to wearing any (something to do with socks and sand, I suspect). Of course, if you do need to make it from the beach to the bar, a pair of sparkly Havaianas should do it (the sparkle is for Melissa; you should probably stick to plain rubber ones, Jonathan...)
