Great photos & blogs. We're looking forward to seeing you both in Queensland. Get ready for the heat, especially in North Queensland! You'll need your wide brimmed hats, corks on strings not essential. xx

Many thanks for all your kind messages so far, its great to hear from everyone and we really enjoy reading them…so keep them coming! We have been informed that there is a small following on this blog, which also includes my Grandad!Despite no internet access he regularly has the pages sent up to him for bedtime reading. Its good that this 'snap shot' of our world tour is appealing to all age ranges and as long as people continue to enjoy reading them…we'll keep writing them!Best wishes to all…JD & Melissa x

Yet another hilarious blog, you really should consider a career as a travel writer, they're brilliant, and you'd get paid to do it!!! You really bring the travel 'to' us readers, well done! Keep on having a great time xx

Another great blog Jonathon, really made me laugh out loud, British coach trips seem soooo boring now! As Jon said, they really should go on Trip Advisor! Waiting for next installment!!! xx

Wait until you get to Queensland: we have a giant fibreglass pineapple built in the 1970s which is heritage listed. Now that's history.

OMG! I'm having to peel myself off the floor laughing about you guys losing your smalls on the streets of Cabbagetown as you brave your way to the local laundrette!!! Cabbage... ...peeling things off the floor... ...I could make a witty comment but for fear of your family reading these messages, I will save that one for another time. Absolutely fantastic to hear about your travels and look through your pics! Just out of interest, what is the capital of Gambia? Did you ever find out? Also looking forward to Mel sharing out the bulk buy of toffee apples when you get home... ...what's that?... ...Mel's eaten them all... ...as said by Jim Royale, "The greedy...". Will be in touch again soon. Safe trip you guys. Gary ;o)
