We spent the morning with Nick and Billy, taking the MTR to Kowloon and looking around the markets there. We bought a painting and some knock-off bracelets before taking the star ferry back to Hong Kong Island. We said goodbye, grabbed our bags and got a taxi to Central station then a train to the airport. We flew Air Asia to Bangkok and landed at 11pm. We went straight to Khao San Road and booked ourselves into what Ricky would describe as a 'flea ridden s***e-hole' for a night. At a mere 470 baht, Lucy thought it was a good idea, although when a very drunk Irishman started banging on our door and arguing with someone, quickly changed her mind!
