Today is the day that we will return to Canada. We drove northward forward Flint, MI and then east on I-69/I-95 to Port Huron, MI. This is one of the crossing points from the U.S. into Canada. After a nice breakfast with Chuck and Elaine, we set out on the Chicago freeways towards Michigan and the Canadian border. The traffic was terrible at first as we headed east towards Chicago, but then were able to catch an expressway going southeast towards Gary, Indiana. On the way to Illinois from our campground in the Dells, we decided to go to see the capital of Wisconsin. Madison is a picturesque city located on a beautiful lake shore. It was a short detour for us and we were able to wind through the streets of the capital with our 35 feet 5th wheel trailer in tow. We had a leisurely breakfast at the RV park, then drove into the town of Wisconsin Dells. In 1905, a dam was built in the Dells, so they are divided into the Upper Dells and the Lower Dells.
