Year-long Retirement Odyssey
The trip from Jasper National Park to Edmonton was a fairly easy and short trip. The highway was a four lane highway with a wide median strip. You can see from the video that the trees were starting to show color.
We pulled into our camping spot at Shakers Acres RV Park. Then it was errand time! I had to have the oil in the truck changed, laundry to be done, while Jerry & Arlene had to visit an Apple Store. By the time we were done with laundry, oil change AND truck wash, had dinner, night was starting to fall. We were schedule to leave the next morning, so thought that we better take a tour of the city since we won't be returning ~ at least not on this trip.
We drove past the Edmonton Oiler's arena as we were blindly navigating through the city. We saw several neighborhoods that had Victorian style homes and even drove through a historical district with old time restaurants, pharmacy, soda stand, and of course, bars.
We returned to the campground and prepared to leave for our next stop, Saskatoon.
