Righty Ho, back in the modern world, who'd have thought the capital of the USA would have so few internet sights? Wifi galore, but I never thought of taking my laptop on holiday... Washington DC... The place to be if you want to spend a couple of days looking at historic buildings and monuments and checking out a few museums (including textiles and women in art!!)... Well, the photo and location are wrong but at least the map is right! Have just spent 2 nights in philadelphia looking at American things like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Also, got a haircut from a chap that sounded like he was in the maffia. Good points to note include Phili Cheesesteaks which are basically thinly sliced bits of beef covered in cheese and onions and surved in a bap, and happy hours which work out at 2 bucks a pint! Well, finally here and have an internet connection.... Saturday night ate extra hot buffalo wings and got drunk in an irish pub off times square, very touristy! Sunday was more like the marv of old... Wandered around a few sights in the morning, including the empire state building, the chrysler building, the united nations place, st. patricks and took a ride to the top of the rockefeller building... awesome views of the city.... Ahhh... relaxing and waiting for Saturday's big off to New York... Exciting....
