Hallo everybody. Now its time for an update of our time in Cuzco and the trek we did. Everything was postponed a few days because Maria was sick (later we found out that it was salmonella). We lived in a neighbourhood called San Blas in a hostel with a belgian owner named Raf. We spend a few days seeing the major sites in and around the city. We wanted to do a 9 day trek to Choquekiraw and Machu Picchu and Raf wanted to come with us, so we looked around for ...

We found a spanish school and a family to live with. The mother, Jenny, was very nice and taught us a good deal of spanish (at least we think). We saw most of the things to see in Arequipa- including a museum where they keep a frozen mummy. She was sacrificed by the Inkas only 11 years old, She was burried on the top of a mountain where the low temperature had preservated her untill some archeologists found her.Now she´s in a glass freezer on display...strange....

We left Lima- took a bustour that lasted 15 hours...but it was okay. We are staying at a nice hostel ( see picture), with a view of the snowcapped volcano El Misti, we can even see it from our room. We hope to find a language school tomorrow and we will probably stay in Arequipa for the next 7 days. So far we have had great food in Peru, its spicy and its very cheap. For lunch we had a soup and a main dish for 3 soles (5 kr...!). Hasta luego

Hejsa Lige nu er vi i lufthavnen i San Salvador- billedet passer ikke til, men vi kunne ikke lige finde andet. Vi har haft det dejligt i New York, vi boede i Brooklyn og igaar aftes var vi ude at spise i nabolaget og der moedte vi en flink amerikaner som vi snakkede laenge med, han skulle til Argentina idag. Bagefter gik vi hjem og paa vejen hjem stod en fyr og solgte t-shirts som han selv havde lavet. Han var super flink ogsaa og vi koebte begge to en t-shirt,...

Hej allesammen Vi er nu i New York, vi bor i Brooklyn. Vi kan ikke faa internettet til at uploade billeder, saa de maa desvaerre vente. Den foerste dag tog vi en baadtur rundt om Manhatten hvor vi fik set Frihedsgudinden og Manhatten-skyline, det var fint. Saa tog vi en tur i Central park, den er bare kaempestor og rigtig hyggelig. Mange loebere, egern og traer! Naeste dag var vi paa Museum of Modern Art, det var rigtig fedt, masser af maerkelige skulpturer,...
