Today we are heading to Puebla, about a 2 hour bus ride away. The breakfast search is easy today as its a work day. First order of the day was to find some breakfast. Being Sunday not so easy but my orange juice man was there and a little bakery was open so all was good. Saturday in Mexico City and as is typical for Mexicans the day starts slowly. I have got my day sort of planned and the first stop is a juice stand in the street for a half litre of freshly squeezed orange juice for 80 cents. After an early start in Lima and an uneventful 6 hour flight I touched down in Mexico City late afternoon on Thursday. What a contrast to Lima. We arrived in Lima around 12.30pm on Sunday. Unbeknown to us there was a major event in process, with many streets closed to traffic. As a result we had to get off the truck about 3 blocks from the hotel and walk the last bit. The hotel is pretty well in the heart of the historical district. A good location.
