Alarm went off at 8am got up showered and fished packing had breakfast then checked out. Got a shuttle bus to the airport. Flying to Los Angeles which is a 5.5 hour flight. Landed at 8.20pm la was 2 hours ahead of Hawaii. Got a shuttle bus to the hotel. We were staying in a hotel at the airport, time we checked in it was 9.30pm. Dropped the bags into Our room and managed to get a meal in the restaurant before it shut. Feels colder here and it’s raining

Up at 6.30 we went to the Polynesian cultural centre for the day. A bit like Disney without the rides. Learning about all the different islands and cultures with shows etc eh Tonga figi etc had a lovely Buffett Lunch with entertainment and a really good evening show. Got the bus back and arrived in our hotel at 10.30 pm popped to a bar but it was closed so sat and had drinks with cheese and biscuits on our balcony

Spent The morning in our hotel as it poured with rain and so windy went out for a wander. Found a shopping centre near by popped into the pandora shop and bought a charm for Hawaii had lunch then back to the hotel. Stayed in and watched a film with a takeaway. The following day we noticed some big trees had blown over !

Had a lie in and breakfast in our room Didn’t leave hotel till 11 bought a ticket for the hop on off bus but stayed on most of the way round. Got the off at a massive shopping centre had a cocktail maitai it’s the local cocktail here but very strong, went to bubba gump restaurant lovely dinner mind you didn’t have it til gone 4. Had breakfast in our apartment then went to the beach. The sea felt cold as you first walked in but once you were in there it was ok. Had a sun bath then went for lunch in dukes bar lovely lunch then another chill out on the beach. Back to our apartment showered then went out for dinner found a nice Japanese place around the corner
