Today was a bit of an inbetweeny travel day. I had booked on the overnight bus to Newcastle and planned to go to Sydney the day after but after texting Hollie i decided to get the overnight bus straight to Sydney. It started to look really awkward for getting to the bus stop at night and stuff though, so I ended up changing my bus last minute to get it at 3 and arrive into Sydney just after midnight!

That morning I went for a walk along the creek and through the botanic gardens with a girl I had got chatting to over breakfast, then chilled on the beach by myself for an hour before heading back for a quick lunch (which almost made me miss the transfer bus) and then I was back to the bus stop!

The bus journey was long but not too bad, and it was really exciting to arrive into Sydney and see the opera house! It was absolutely freezing when I got off the bus haha, first time I had felt cold in a long time, I was really unprepared for it! Hollie had been out for dinner but came out to pick me up with her flatmate Nicholas which was awesome and she brought me back to her house! It was great to see her again but I was really tired from the bus so after a quick chat just went to bed.
