Wednesday. Off to the Montmarte area of Paris today to view the Sacre Coeur Basilica which was built between 1875 and 1914. Tuesday is a much cooler day, a welcome change after so many days near or over 30C. We decided to spend the day just wandering around & exploring. We first walked up to the Bastille monument. Sunday was quite a warm day for the tour finish in Paris, clear skies and just a whisper of breeze so we went to the edge of Tuileries garden on the Seine to watch the finish of the Women's tour race which was was 13 laps of the Champs Elise course.
