The small medieval walled town of St Paul de Vence sits high on the hills around 30 kilometres from Nice and offers stunning views to the coastal towns and the mediterranean sea from its rampart walls. The town looks just as it would have centuries ago with well preserved stonework and narrow streets shaded by the walls of buildings which are now inhabited by artists and artisans all selling their wares directly to the public.
