The Chateau is very grand and the keep is in the foreground which was initially the strongest part of castles or grand houses to offer protection for the occupants in case of attack. The gardens are absolutely the most impressive vegetable gardens I have ever seen. Very formal hedges and flower beds edge all the vegetables which are bright and very vigorous growers with all manner of plants within theses beds.
