Today was a relaxing day around the villa and a beach day. So not too much exciting to say. I have loaded some pictures of the villa and the beach front, which I must say is it's drawing card.
The accommodations themselves are nothing to write home about, but the beach is spectacular! Quite a few boats moored out in front here, so there is always something to watch. We got a kick out of our captain who had to jump in the water to moor his catamaran to the buoy ??? Where is your hook we all thought ? Especially when his first mate overshot the buoy 3 times and he swam to get back on and try again "3" times. Good grief !!
Or the two young men who we watched come motoring along it what looked like a bathtub with a motor or it !! Hilarious, and it appears they were trying to pick up chicks ?? What were they thinking ?
We did a little snorkeling just on our beach today and were surprised to find there were lots of "Nemos" everywhere. It was really quite nice and way less risk. We will endeavour to remember this option moving forward.
Our beach day came to a close with margaritas on the patio, followed by the "catch of the day" - today red snapper - whole fried fish, head and all, but so good !
We are heading to bed early tonight with the news of the Leaf victory and because "Tomorrow is a Big day". We will be flying back to Panama city very early in the morning and then renting a car and driving to the "jungle". Vanda has been kind enough to warn me of the over abundance of "creatures"! ... Hasta mañana
