Today we travelled to the border of the NT and Western Australia. Our first stop past the border is Lake Argyle, which contains 12 times the water volume than in Sydney Harbour. We then stopped at the township of Kununarra to grab some lunch from good old Coles and I did a frantic search of the papers to find out who won the FI championship!!! I had no luck however as due to time differences this had not been reported so asked the guy in the sports shop but...

After a lie in , in Broome we headed to 80 mile beach. We reached there just in time for sunset. 80 mile beach is lovely there is totally nothing there except for the camp site, no tourist shops, restaurants or bars - so totally unspoilt. The great thing about the beach is that turtles come onto land in the early hours of the morning, back to their nests. So at 1am we set our alarms and headed to the beach to watch this - fantastic experience!!!
