Hiya D. Just spent some time looking at all your photos and they are truely amazing, I am so jealous. The one of you and Neil in Ushuaia is fantastic, you both look so very happy! Im so chuffed for you. Reckon you should go into photography or travel writing! you obviously have a talent because I did not get bored at all and you know my attention span!!! well I have nothing exciting to tell you unless you want to hear about all my vegetables and fruit I am growing, thats is the highlight of my life at the moment (part from jon ofcourse)!! i never knew how exciting tomatoes can be!! So if you get bored when you get back you will have to come down to good ole Warminster and have a look at my runner beans!! bet you can hardly wait to come home now! Well untill then continue to have a great time and savour every moment. I think of you often (with jealously I must add!!) take care of one another, lots of love K XXX

Hi Neil and Donna
Your journals to-date have been fantastic, and one or both of you should become travel writers .... very entertaining.
However:
I'm getting bored now. You said you were off to Salta - that was on 11 May - so here I am, travelling by proxy, sat in amongst a lot of boring old rocks in Moon Valley. Ok, they are Argentinian rocks, but that doesn't make them entertaining to me. Get a move on .......
Joyce (Mom)
To Donna, wishing you a very Happy Birthday on 25th. Hope the two of you are having a really good time, sounds like you are, speak to you soon, all my love mom and clan xx
The Bloody Germans
Hi you both,
we just looked to your actual travelboard - seems that you are still in the south. We had a great time in Mendoza, but payed the bill by beeing ill afterwards. Montezumas revenge made us stay for a long time in La Rioja. Maybe we can go a bit more to the north tomorrow, but more than 2 hours in the bus are not possible to imagine at the moment...
What about the British ? Car hire in Salta will be expensive without you!

The train to Temuco was great. Beautiful views, nice breakfast served by Petra (with legs) and a empty train. Now we sit in Temuco, which seems to be a loud and unfriendly town and wait for the nighttrain to Santiago. How did you get along without us ? Everything o.k. with the coffee, Neil ? We just have bought another metal thing for our second bathroom with fishes.

Hi you two world travellers,
I can only reiterate what everyone else has said on your message board, words fail me to describe the fantastic photos and the wonderous sights you are both experiencing. I printed off a couple of photos to show Zoe Putz when I saw her at the weekend and you'll be pleased to know that she said you haven't changed one bit Donna. Whether that's good or bad I'm not quite sure! I've just read the message my lovely daughter left, she gets more gobbie the older she gets, if that's possible. If I can ride a camel in Egypt I'm sure I'll cope on a small pony - famous last words! Everything's fine here, our summer still hasn't begun (come to that neither has spring) but fingers crossed that the weather will improve over the next couple of weeks as we're longing to spend some time down the beach at Holland. Nicola's coming to stay for a couple of days over her Easter break, we're visiting her Nan one day in Grays (I'm providing the support network!) and we'll go and have a nice lunch somewhere the following day. We have enough nice restaurants and wine bars locally to choose from, so we're spolit for choice. Work still continues on the bungalow, we're just having the bathroom refurbished and it's looking good and should be completed this week. We will then have a jacuzzi bath as well as a shower, not bad for an ol' girl from the East End. Hopefully I'll be able to c*** my leg up high enough for a few more years yet to get into the bath! Next job on the agenda is having a conservatory built and the back garden landscaped ready for Sams birthday on 1st August, as we'd like to have a barbeque. I hope all your family's OK Donna (and yours Neil of course) and that your sister's well during her pregnancy. Also read Simon's message, he definitely is scattier the older he gets. Take care of yourselves and we look forward to following your adventures. Love Barbara & Sam xx

Hi Donna & Neil, Looks like you're having an amazing time, I check your site whenever I check my friend's site (they're currently in Laos and hope to be where you are this time next year!) I will give them your site if you don't mind so that they can check out everything there is to do! With Liz gone now Theresa has been forwarding your mails onto us, I am so so envious - you guys get up every day to do something new and I get up and go to work - ha ha!!! Make the most of this exciting time and keep sending the emails! Take care, Jacqueline
