Travelled all day towards Salta. Camping out tonight. Campsite was next to a soccer field where they played until early hours of morning. Wild dog packs everywhere. Old man caught lurking in ladies toilets.
Up at 5am and drove til 9am had breakfast at petrol stop. Continue onto raft base camp. Road closed so had to detour 5 hours. Had lunch and set up camp. Going zip wiring, nine cables cross the valley and river and back, like a flying fox. Sally hand wrote out the words to our truck song - Alright by Supergrass.
3rd March
Fab and Danny cooked hot breakie this morning before we headed to the zip wires. Bus ride to top of mountain then a slow steady walk up. Once there we were harnessed in and started on the first zip which was a short practice wire. Woohoo it was awesome. Next wire went across a river. Last wire we descended into camp. Then on with the wetsuits and helmets. White water rafting down nine rapids. Kay Rob Trav Danny and I were in the same raft. Trav wanted to roll the raft all the time. The scenery going down the river was beautiful, there fossils in the canyon walls. One of the rafts had a dog on board , life jacket and all. Apparently he goes rafting every day. Saw some Condors soaring above. Camp put on a BBQ lunch. Left at 4pm, run over a rock and it got jammed between the two rear dual wheels. Had to take tyres off to remove rock. On the road again to Salta
