Today we travelled on the coach for five hours with a few stops in between. We arrived late into our hotel,the Grand Century. This was the best hotel, very comfortable and a lobby bar. Today we visited the Three Natural Bridges National Geopark which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 12 kilometres north of Wulong in Chongqing. Our first stop this morning was a visit to the Black Dragon Pool located at the bottom of Elephant Hill in Lijiang. The Black Dragon Pool is located in the scenic Jade Spring Park just a short walk from the Old Town of Lijiang. Today we drove approximately two hours to Tiger Leaping Gorge, with a number of photo stops along the way. The skies were clear today and we were fortunate enough to see spectacular views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. Jenny woke up unwell and missed most of the days' activities. This morning we visited the Baisha Old Town (which was once the capital of the Naxi minority group) and Frescoes The Baisha Frescoes date back to the early Ming Dynasty and are made up of 44 pieces.
