Okay well we went out with somebody I knew from London last night (Saturday) (not very well) and went to a local market for Chilli Crab and various other things (very good and very cheap). After this we went to Raffles for the obligatory Singapore Sling (that's a drink boys..). Not bad but I preferred my Tiger Beer.

After this we just did more sleeping. Not really our kind of place all in all - it's about shopping and making loads of money. There are no homeless people on the streets because it's against the law to sleep rough and the penalties are heinous. Also, did you know that it's against the law in Singapore to protest in a public place and to strike! Scary!

Anyway, M is sleeping somemore so she can write something from Sri Lanka. Hope all is well loads of love!

Weather is hot but overcast because apparently this is the rainy season but this is good because when we arrived yesterday morning without any sleep it was all we could do not to dribble.
