Spent about 4 days in Cairns.? Went on a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) but unfortunately we went with a company that wasn't eco friendly and basically took us to a dead bit of reef (near Green Island).? However, we saw lots of?amazing live?coral and fish at the Whitsunday Islands so we're not too put out.? We met up with the Canadian couple we met on the sailing trip a couple of times and went to the cinema but basically chilled out by the large lagoon built by the council?to compensate for there being nought but mud flats in Cairns.
