After being up for 24hrs we finally get to where we are staying, what a long ass flight that was. We landed at Houston an hour early, so we went on standby for an earlier flight to Washington, if you ever fly United don't expect friendly service, having said they those negative Nancies weren't going to bring my buzz down, I must of looked suss because every check to get done I got done Haha poor Sarah. We got our standby flight and even though this one was 3 hours it felt twice as long as the one from Sydney to Houston.
We get to where we are staying and the code we have been given for the door doesn't work and neither of us have phone service. Thankfully the guy in the room above rents from the owner and rang him for us. We went for a walk to find a place with wifi and stumbled on a gay sports bar where we got looked after, apparently its pride week here so lots of action happening.
