Lonar Meteorite Crater - March 3rd, 2008

This lake was formed out of a hypervelocity meteorite impact 50,000 years ago. With a diameter of 1800M, a dept of 170M and the meteorite 500M below - it is the 3rd largest Crater Lake in the world. The site was a bit disappointing but the time spent off the beaten track with friend from New York State, Byran, was full of wonderful conversation, good laughs and slam poetry.
