Peninsula Valdes

Up close and personal with gigantic humpback whales a few feet from the boat! These gentle giants, especially seeing a mom with her baby whale, are truly special.

We also went to a penguin colony where 66,000 couples were in their nesting period. We had the chance to walk among the penguins, see their babies and just as we reached the shore, thousands of penguins looked out at the whale that was swimming about the shoreline. These funny little creates are being added to my list of favourite animals.
