We spent 3 days in the amazon rainforest. We stayed in a lodge on the Napa river. This place was amazing, even though there was no electricity and river water showers. We hiked in the forest and saw a variety of flora, fauna and wildlife. We waded across a river deep up to our chest. Nush and Divya slipped and got soaked a few times. Luckily we didnt see any leeches. We made a balsa wood raft for 17 people and drifted along the river. We visited a shaman to get ´cleansed´! Met a tarantula that Divya followed to get close up pictures! So far, i have to say that this amazonia trip has been a major highlight in Ecuador. Loving it!
