I am staying at a place called Ptea teak Dong, it takes families off the street, and teenage girls who have been raped and they stay in the centre for a year and learn vocational skills, and are provided with three meals a day, health care etc. At the end of the time they are given a house and plot of land and some capital to start a business wih their vocational skills. Well, my travels have started off in terrible fashion.. by missing my flight - i was at the airport in time, but my tickets were not! not to worry - I am still smiling and am on a flight six hours later - on way to Phnom Penh. I am planning to stay one night there - catch up with my secret lover there (the food) and jump on a bus to Battambang - near the Thai border to begin working with street famalies. Hey, wow only two more sleeps in Cambodia!! Cant believe it. Have done so much though!!!
