A couple of days later we got ourselves out of Vegas, thank god! And had a 16 hour coach journey on the Greyhound to San Francisco, the journey was a killer and we chose to do it overnight, was quite an experience being woken up at 4am when the bus was pulled over by the police checking for illegal immigrants! There turned out to be 2 of them on our coach!!! We arrived in Cisco and checked into our hostel, straight away we felt so much better being there! I loved our time in Cisco, we did a tour of the city on the first day with Dylan, someone who’d grown up there! We also went for a cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge, which was probably the best thing we did there! We also visited pier 39 and Alcatraz prison. Also in Cisco we went for a Chinese at the House of Nankin, apparently a famous restaurant and people queue for well over an hour for a table there every night of the week! We also made our first proper friends whilst in Cisco – everyone in Vegas was way too self-involved to bother speaking to us when we tried! We met and had a mad night drinking with Garth and Andrea 2 people from New Zealand and also a group of Irish girls!
