Well we have been living the farming life for two weeks now and once the chicken fiasco was over we settled into a very comfortable routine here... rising early to feed all the animals and muck them out - nice... and then complete the numerous DIY and maintenance needed on the farm... didn't think i was much good at woodwork at school but it appears i can indeed make a fence?!!!

It hasn't all been work, work, work though as I am sure you can see from the photo's - we regularly hike the local area, armed with our Bear Bells of course (though whether that is enough to deter the Grizzly's I am yet to be convinced) we have explored much of the surroundings and what we always find is spectacular! Gorgeous waterfalls, stunning lakes and the like... now we have a routine in place it is easy to plan things - so we're hoping to do some camping in the woods (Bear permitting) and to raft and kayak the many lakes and rivers around us... so watch this space for those piccies.

All in all, loving Canadian way of life - it seems to suit Ross and I very well - hard graft rewarded by cold beers in the great outdoors - what could be better?!!
