We left Positano with heavy hearts but we take with us wonderful memories. Our next destination is Pompeii where Elisa, myself, Tizianna and Lelio enter the sight of histories most famous volcanic eruption. Our experience was enhanced by meeting a man who offered to be our guide for a fee, of course. He told us he was an official. Although dubious, we agreed and weren't disappointed as his knowledge made our visit a memorable experience.
We continued our journey and arrived at the birthplace of Duilio, St Donato Val Comino which is in the mountains of the Lazio. He had arranged for us to stay in a B &B where he had stayed on his last visit in 2014. We were all invited to dinner by Duilio's cousin Aldo where we met his famiy. We enjoyed a nice meal together before saying our goodbyes and returning to the B&B for the night.
