Awesome! Absolutely awesome. The culture, the history, the weather, the islanders, the food, the scenery, the mental storms, the isolation - all awesome :-) arrived on the 19th, chilled out, explored Hanga Rua the following day (the only town on the island) before doing a full day tour on the Weds and another half day tour on the thursday. Took aLOT of pictures of the Moai (heads!), almost lost another bank card (left it in the machine like a numnuts!), got chase...

Stayed in Santiago between 13th - 19th May and took in a few tours and caught some general leisure. With hindsight, probably too long spent in Santiago, with bigger and better things to take see to both the North and South of the country, but it was still quite nice. Spent the 13th and 14th just relaxing, before doing a city tour of Santiago on the 15th, which was unspectacular and overpriced, but meant seeing a bit more of the capital than we might have done ot...

Charlie's head was fine! Strange

Went to the most soul-destroying and dilapidated zoo I've ever seen in the daytime - not one to be repeated! But had a great evening out at a Tango Show, with Charlie asleep in the pram for most of it. Three course meal and free-flowing vino, followed by the show. Upgraded to our own balcony, which was a pressie to Pri for S.American Mother's Day :-)

...a few familiar sights! Didn't do much oin arrival, just chilled in a nice hotel. Very welcome after the night in Puerto Iguazu!
