Time to pack up from our lovely hotel in Orlando and head down south to Sunrise. Had to hit the outlet mall one more time...retail success for both of us yet again.
Road trippin. Nick is an excellent driver, and Thor the trusty navigator (most of the time). Nick talks to other drivers quite frequently - she uses colourful language as she provides helpful driving tips :) Crazy freeways on the way down starting in Palm Beach - 5 lanes across.
Gabby tried to get us back on the toll highway - 9 bucks for an hour drive on the
Florida turnpike - geez. Changed to the interstate, but Gabby kept trying to get us back on the turnpike - she probably gets kickbacks from Florida state.
La Quinta Personal Care Home (PCH). This hotel is a step down from where we stayed in Orlando, and the demographic is quite different. Guests here seem to be an average age of 80. No shortage of seniors in this area of Florida!
Had a nice supper at Benihanas - sushi and martinis - nice way to end the day.
The official snack of our trip - peanut butter Snickers.

Louise McInnes I, too, have had the entertainment of Nick offering colourful advice to the surrounding drivers! Hahahahaha! Great memories from our trip down the east coast to Florida. Good times! She's quite seasoned as she tends to travel to Florida every 6 months or so! Right Nickie?
