Day 2 - 3rd May First place to visit today was the Grand Palace, only 10min walk from our hotel. Unfortunately, though when we got there it was closed so got on a Tuk Tuk 'big mistake' as they're a complete rip off! Day 1 - 2nd May Arrived into Bangkok about 4.00pm. Getting through the airport was a task! The amount of people that approach you is pretting daunting especially when you're on your own and dodgy looking men are asking if you need a taxi! I'd read about these people so headed for the official taxi rank and went straight to the hotel where I met up with my travel pal Cheryl.
