It's begun raining. There was a fantastic thuderstorm last night at the campground in Hamlin. I also met the nicest two Dutch motorcyclists. I talked to them for a long time about traveling in Europe. I met a lot of nice people in Hamlin. I was really looking forward to Hildesheim and it's a little wierd here. I'm about to go get dinner but so far it's a very busy town that isn't easy to find the center of. It's much cooler now and these cities closer to the Germ...

Well folks I just spent about 40 minutes typing out a very funny and excellent message. Then I clicked send and the page had timed out and the whole thing was lost. It detailed the lest three day's excitement taking me now into Niedersachsen and closing in on Hannover. I'm in Hamlin and it' a nice little town. The tour is underway. It took a train out of Frankfurt yesterday and rode 66 miles through the Heesen countryside to the university town of Marburg. The trail ran along with the Lahn River and was very nice. However, I got lost about...oh...a dozen times. Sometimes it was the signs but mostly there were so many turns that if I looked away only briefly I could miss the correct one. And I did with consistent rapidity.
