Got the boat about 3 and boy was it rough. Took a couple of hours to get to Beachcomber.
The dorm here is unreal, there are about 50 beds in this huge room which are basically on top of one and other.
Met a few nice people who I had dinner and some drinks with. Was told that a cyclone might hit on Friday!! Would be quite exciting apart from the fact that Friday is when I am meant to be going back to the mainland as my flight is on Saturday! They said it might turn into nothing so fingers crossed. It is absolutely wild out there and great to watch from inside! Went to bed about 11pm and everything feels damp, it is horrible to sleep in. Glad I am only staying 2 nights (hopefully).

The rain is still coming down with a vengance. There is absolutely nothing to do so have just eaten (surprise, surprise) and slept. Sam is meant to be coming from Ocotpus today but I don't think the boats are running. I really hope she makes it!
Hurray - she made it. Looked like a drowned rat right enough but she made it.
We had dinner with 2 Oz girls Megan and Paige and then had a good few drinks. We were up until about 3am which is probably a record for me here. The music was good most of the time and everyone was up dancing, definitely a party island.

It's STILL raining!!! How depressing. Really wanted to do some serious sunbathing in my last few days as well. Good news is there will be no cyclone just lots of wind and rain.
Went to reception after breakfast to see what time the boat was at to be told that there were NO boats running today. EM HELLO my flight leaves tomorrow to go to Auckland. They said they MAY put on a boat themselves but would need to wait and see.
Found out at lunch that there was going to be a boat at 12.30pm - thank god! The boat was tiny and so rocky, I had to sit outside in the rain as I thought I was going to be sick. Luckily I managed to hold it down.
Got back to Bluewater and had my favourite dinner. Will be sat to leave Fiji but CANNOT wait to get to NZ and see Kirsten, Laura and Dee. I am sooooo excited.
NEW ZEALAND HERE I COME.
