Wuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaah
Can't believe the most amazing months of my life have come to an end.......... But what a way to end.....
Australia was never a part of my plan and never really been on the top of my places to visit but somehow I ended up in Perth .........and it was the best decision ever!!
The last blog has to be dedicated to my wonderful tour guides- Bhavika, sunit, Krishna, neel, riyaan and sia (my lovely family) and their friends who made me feel so welcome:)
Considering I had never met them before, I was naturally a little anxious but that was soon cleared up on my first night when me and Bhavika chatted away till the early hours of the morning.....from then on, it was like we had all known each other forever......... There were a lot of laughs (mostly at my expense), drinking (I still deny I am responsible for any of that) and singing (I do not apologise for that......TUNE)
Some of my highlights......
- swan valley
spent the day tasting wine, beer (which I thought was wine), chocolates and cheese........and of course WUUUUAAAAAH (I would try to explain this but would have no idea where to start!)
- mandulah bay
hiring a boat to drive around the canals and seeing the beautiful millionaire mansions, getting abs soaked ( I guess I asked for it) and of course calorie- licious churros (heart attack on a plate)
- kangaroos
trying to get pics with kangaroos (so not an easy task) but well worth the effort
- freo
the most quaint little town I have ever been to full of antique stores, harbours, trams and my personal highlight.......
FReemantle prison- was so surreal doing a tour of the prison and seeing the living conditions and the way the prisoners were tortured...... Had to keep reminding myself they were in there for a reason and did not deserve my pity
- penguin island
A tiny island in the middle of nowhere where I saw a few baby penguins...... Probably the most adorable creatures......... Sadly we missed the dolphins
Hilary's harbour
Quite possibly one of my fav places in Perth ......... Was so peaceful and calm full of mini beaches, shops, harbours and my favourite....... LYCHEE BUBBLE TEA ....... Perfect place to just sit and unwind
It was defo sad to say bye and wished I could have stayed longer ( I'm sure my travel agent loved me, the amount of times I tried to get him to change my tickets)
A special thanks to Bhavika and Sunit for the lovely letter and present.... You guys really made this a memorable trip for me and I will be back for sure (really hope you guys have stopped weeping into your cornflakes by now)
Can not believe I am back in London now....... ( Although in true Bimbo- style i very nearly boarded the flight to singapore-i blame that on the red wine)
Miss you guys heaps!!!!
Xxx
