This morning we flew from Calama to Santiago. We opted for the 2hr flight instead of the 25 hour bus ride...surprisingly the flight was cheaper! We are set up in a studio apartment where we can cook meals, explore the capital, and set our plans for southern Chile...stay tuned!

We arrived in Arica, Chile last night...our little train across the border had 48 people on board. The trip was an hour and a half with a time change of two hours.
