We arrived in Arica, Chile last night...our little train across the border had 48 people on board. The trip was an hour and a half with a time change of two hours. Our Airbnb is two blocks from the beach and the locals have already warned us that is we find this water cold...we won’t be swimming in Chile! With it being November 1st, the “day of the dead”, most of the city is closed...so a great opportunity to walk to the top of the rock and get our bearings!
