06.06.05 Woke up earlier today to see if Sarah and I could bungy jump! Some stupid plan possessed me to do 'The Nevis' - 3rd highest jump in the world and 3 times higher than the jump I did last Monday!! We had a wander round Queenstown shops before we got picked up in the shuttle bus to be dropped at the bungy site. The station you jump from is literally positioned between 2 mountains over a giant gorge!! You make your way to the station by cable car (with a see through floor!) Had to wait ages to jump. Finally - my turn - got harnessed up and made my way to the edge. OH MY GOSH was it high - 134 metres!! They count really quickly from 5 to 1 and you have to just jump! Still scares me thinking about it!! ARGHHHH!! But was ace - you'll have to see the DVD!! After the jump, we looked around the shops again. In the evening, we all went out - pottered around the bars and ended up singing karaoke! (I can't keep away Annie!!) 07.06.05 Pretty much spent the whole day today on bus to Christchurch. It's quite a long drive. We made a few scenic stops - I have some gorgeous photos of a glacier lake with mountains around. Fab. Arrived in Christchurch later - made tea & just chilled for the evening.
