07.07.05 Arrived in Hong Kong!! Was quite a long day with all the waiting at the airport - arrived early to have breakfast with Angela, then my flight was delayed! But the transit from the airport to the hotel was really easy. Hong Kong looks amazing. It's so busy and full of tower blocks and neon lights. My hotel's fantastic!! Don't think I could afford this kind of living for long though! Went for a walk along the pier after settling in - for a fantastic view of the city at night :D 08.07.05 Breakfast at the hotel this morning cost nearly 10 pounds!! Took the 'MRT' to the station for 'Victoria Peak' - and got the tram to the top. Some amazing views of the city and the surrounding areas - a surprising amount of greenery surrounding the hundreds of buildings! Managed to get a bit lost on the way to the ferry (easy thing to do) and boarded the wrong one (reading the signs might've helped!) But it still got me back to Kowloon (it just wasn't called 'Star Ferry!'). Went swimming in the hotel pool in the afternoon :) And then walked to the harbour again in the evening to watch the light show which was pretty cool :) 09.07.05 Flying back to Bangkok today for my last day there before flying home on Sun night / Mon morn.
