Now in Ottawa, the capital city and this is the Parliament - modeled very closely on the British Houses of Parliament. It started snowing again today but it wasn't so bad this time. Maybe I am getting used to it. But it wasn't that cold - perhaps I am getting used to that as well!! Just 1 night here then off to Toronto for 2 nights - we are really moving around!

Bonjour - we are now in Canada - Quebec City to be exact. We had a long drive from Boston - leaving at 8 am and arriving around 6pm - with a few comfort/lunch/ duty free shop stops! We are here for 2 days and have quite a few things to do and see. Tomorrow morning we are off to see how maple syrup is made and have an maple syrup breakfast, which we have been told includes maple syrup sausages! Should be an experience.then a city tour follows with some free time....

Tour started today - the morning was spent in New York and then we drove to Boston where we spend 2nights. There are 50 people on the tour - lots of Australians and a few NZ's. Still a little cool but I think it will be worse when we get into Canada. When we get to Niagara Falls we have been told that the Maid of the Mist boat trip will not be running as there is still too much ice!!!

Arrived in New York yesterday - was upgraded to a suite - 2 king size beds in the bedroom! Wandered to Times Square. The weather is much better here- 15 and sunny. Will hit the shops today. I am having dinner tonight with another pharmacist from Adelaide who is also spending a few days here. The tour starts tomorrow night at 5pm with a group meeting so I hope there are some fun people!

Conference dinner had a circus theme- lots of different acts( see photos) plus great food. But not a lot of wine..... 1 day left of the conference then off to New York on Saturday
