A coconut and lemon cupcake! Delicious! Yesterday was 25 which was delightful after 2 days of terrible rain. I thought I would spend the day in a museum but so did hundreds of others! So I went shopping instead.

Spent a wonderful afternoon in Central Park - doing a guided walking tour and then wandering around on my own. Hard to believe that was only 2 days ago as it has rained here ever since! Spent yesterday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - as did a lot of other people!! Today I went to a Broadway play starring Toni Collette, which was very good. Got very wet getting there and getting home so I will be staying in and cooking dinner tonight!

The tour is over and I am happily located in the apartment ( see photo) Most people on the tour got colds so there were a few miserable people on the the bus! The apartment was exactly as I had seen on the website. Fairly small kitchen but a good size microwave and stove so there will be a few home cooked meals! Today I took a boat cruise around Manhattan- it was a lovely sunny day but a very cold wind. But great views as usual.

Spectacular sights at the Falls. There is still ice around the Falls so we were not able to go out on the boat trip. So we walked through the tunnels instead. Tomorrow we leave Canada and return to the States - off to Lancaster which is an Amish area.

Had 2 great days in Toronto. Went up the CN tower and took some amazing photos. Still cold but at least no snow. We are moving south so it should get warmer now.
