Mum has invaded! Despite being hampered by a torn tendon in her calf, she managed to walk fairly well around the city. On the first day, we hung around close to Khao San Road and went for a massage and facial treatment. We visited the weekend market at Chatuchack via riverboat and stumbled across some beautiful Wats on our way. From there we headed back and met Rachel and Pradeep, heading out to her birthday cheese and wine evening. Apparently both are an expensive commodity here! We had a great time and managed to see some new areas of Bangkok too.
