Beautiful city beautiful buildings and beaches BUT cold sea ! Stunning Table Mountain couldn't go to top on cable car as it closed because of very high winds but did go up Signal Hill on open top bus to watch the sunset so did see the view of the city. Amazing strange interesting place ! Yet again walked miles saw the amazing 80 ft reclining Buddha loads fascinating temples and more Buddha 's got totally drenched when walking and heavens opened but hey it was warm ! Surprised to see Boots chemist ah home ! Walked to the Grand Palace but found it closed within 3/4 hr of us getting there so no point in spending £16 to go in when need a few hours. After Bangkok off to Phuket to relax for 9 days nice hotel near beach hired scooter first day went to Patong -- not impressed very busy and we thought ' tacky ' got stopped by police for not wearing helmets policeman lovely and friendly !!
