It has been a few days since I've written anything. I forgot to check my last entry before writing so I hope I don't repeat myself.

We drove from Aunty Rose's to Heathrow airport we had som many obstacles getting there, nearly running out of petrol, trying to find where we needed to go, the flight changed terminals so by the time we reached the desk at 3.10 for our 3.40 international flight we were completely passed the stressed stage and started panicking. To our delight they were quite fine about it and we were upgraded to Business Class, that was worth the run to the terminal!

We arrived in New York and had Aunty Alison, Uncle Doug and Kristyn holding up signs for us. Although they had a hire car to come into New York just heading out past Manhatten we had a flat tire, itwas pretty funny.

We've been to stacks of places and we saw Kristyn get picked up by her date to go the prom, it was so cute. It was funny because her date, Ray was introduced to us all, questioned by Uncle Doug and then Kristyn and Ray exchanged flowers before heading off for photos.

We went to New York City yesterday, we walked blocks as the Americans say! We went to the Statue of Liberty, which although it was big, I thought it would have been bigger, we went to The Empire State building and Madison Square and Times Square. We used the subway trains, we had the experience of 3 African Americans start singing in harmonies, I couldnt stop laughing, they were pretty good.

There are a stack of take out places here, I've never seen so many McDonalds and Donut places before. Everything seems to be big here too, oversized, like large bottles of everything.

Well sorry to be short this time but Uncle Doug ordered pizza for dinner and its just got here, they are all in the lounge watching the LA Lakers play against Boston Cletics in the play offs so I better stop writing so they dont eat all the pizza. Yep, the kilo's are stacking on!!!

Bon appetite, well maybe that's not the right terminoligy here but you know what I mean.
