Have to say Denys & Denise have found each other! He very gently winds her up while Den does her indignant bit and its so funny. Denys works in canberra and is staying at the same place as us so he's taken us under his wing a bit and is great fun and just enjoys life. Anyway don't worry, as much as Den & I love Canberra we will definately be coming back together! Everthing about Australia (so far) is exactly as people say. Very clean, spacious ,very laid back and an easy place to be. Doesn't feel the other side of the world as it seems like old England with more modern buildings. We enjoyed Sydney but enjoying Canberra more and apparently Melbourne and Adelaide are even better so we're looking forward to it. The weather now is unbearably hot and its good we have such good accomadation as we aren't doing a lot that is active thats for sure! The flies & mossies are the worst thing and a bit of a pain to be honest. We've taken to covering ourselves with vinegar and red wine!!! Both are supposed to work but not to convinced! Went out on a pushbike and saw some of the sites then Denys took me out on his motorbike (when I got him away from Den!) to do some more sightseeing and so we have now done most of Canberra! Moving on 4th Jan and thinking about getting a car to travel the great Ocean Road but haven't made a definate decision yet. I know we will both miss Canberra but loolkng forward to travelling on.
